In Tobermory, you get the best of both and can watch the sunset where the two bodies of water meet! This is where the tour boats leave for Flowerpot Island, a beautiful day-trip destination to enjoy a short hike, splashing on the rocks and a tour around the historic lighthouse keeper's home before returning to the mainland. The renowned Grotto is a half day's hike or 15 min drive from town. Singing Sands is a favourite sandy beach close to the Grotto and other hiking destinations that take you to the amazing turquoise waters of the area.
